| Job Summary: | The Elementary Interventionist (Student Support Specialist) provides targeted support to students who need additional instruction in foundational skills. This position works closely with classroom teachers to identify learning gaps and deliver small-group instruction designed to strengthen core skills and promote student success. The interventionist monitors student progress and adjusts instruction to ensure students are making measurable growth. This role combines hands-on academic and behavioral support in a small group or 1:1 setting with program coordination including but not limited to students participating in the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) programs. The position emphasizes collaboration, differentiation, and proactive referral to external TEFA - approved vendors when needs exceed in-house resources. |
